Smitherman hires “spiritual” drummers to manipulate weather!

 Posted on September 27th, 2010

No wait, I’ve got proof.

Yesterday, all was fine in the dandy neighbourhood of Regent Park. The sun was shining. People were trancing out to the drum group perched conspicuously beneath a Smitherman banner.

Connection established. We know who’s funding this thing.

But is it really “a thing“?

Well, sir, wouldn’t you know that mere moments later, the results of all that reverberating drumming came strolling lazily into the sky.

Nota bene, today:

adelaide street, rain, clouds, fog, traffic, commute, toronto, city, lifeadelaide street, peter street, intersection, rain, fog, traffic, commute, toronto, city, life

Thus irrefutable evidence that Smitherman is angling up inner-city African “spiritual” drummers as a means to control the weather during the last few weeks of the election. His second place to Ford must be stinging so maybe he’s planning to take the super-villain route and hold the city hostage. And then forget Mayor, it’s King Smitherman.

I dunno if I like this.

P.S. You can grab a really large copy of that Don Valley photo here (it’s just over 3 MB). Set it as your fall computer desktop. Do some digital decoupage with it. Make seasonal postcards. Use it as the cover to a nice scrapbook commemorating the Don before it was destroyed by King Smitherman’s ongoing weather experiments.
